Game 153: Padres at Pirates

Cole and Kennedy underway. Petey just went yard in the 4th to put the PBC up 2-1.

There's a lot of empty seats here in the Beer Fort. With only ten games left and two games back, a WIN would help.

Entertained by Hasabata's continued hitting consistency at the plate.

Not entertained by the unfortunate circumstance of having to work Grilli and Marte back into the lineup at the detriment of WINning.

  2. Imagine Tony Watson closing last night...game over. Not sure why he is the 7th inning choice today.

  5. May have been Denorfiaed last night, but will not be Boxbergered today. Byrd's Alex Cole eyewear does not seem to be helping. Cole the Big Man again!

  6. Cirque d' Sanchez...Tony wanted to see if the Padres were keeping their dugout floor clean. Someone dropped a Gatorade cup and some seed shells...

  9. Yes he did. Glad Clint took my Tabata/Sanchez advice from yesterday. Play Tabata's hot hand over Marte's broken one. Beer fort fire extinguished.

  10. A most glorious baseball day with the PBC and Cole exploding and the hated red guys imploding in a heart breaker. Curses on their now beleaguered bullpen. Now Nutting needs to open up his wallet and pay off PBC mole Zach Duke to put ex-lax in the Reds' clubhouse buffet.
