I think the ending of that game hit a nerve in me that had been laying dormant for, ah, seems about 21 years now. Yeah, I still don't like the way that feels. I guess I'll take it as progress that I can still be emotionally scarred by a baseball game on September 20.

Barmas sadly does make that play as Mercer tried to imitate Barmes' making routine plays look difficult.
ReplyDeleteHowever, he butchered the routine play.
Earlier in the game, Mercer turns 2 that Barmes doesn't, but that last play was etrocious.
BTW I throw right at Joey Votto the next game, I don't care what the score is or the situation.
