Game 148: Cubs at Pirates

Baker and Cole at 7.

Cole looks primed to drag some guys Committed to Starlin Castro behind the woodshed, where the pistol-whippings should be plentiful.

Cole has been the stopper. I wonder if they have lifted the pitch-to-contact mandate.

    Replace it with pistol-grip-to-the-head mandate.

  12. Cards lose. Sweet, sweet first place.

  13. Pirates own the tiebreaker, so it's not even a tie. The team that wins the division gets the Dodgers, right now, and the Wild Card teams burn an ace in the one-game playoff to advance vs. Atlanta.

Laughed out loud at the idea of Decastro taking Kershaw line dancing. Good point, Rowdy on the non-tie. Cards played poorly tonight against the untucked Brewers, napjerks setting in at the red light.
