Captain Jean-Luc Picard: I will not sacrifice the Enterprise. We've made too many compromises already; too many retreats. They invade our space and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And *I* will make them pay for what they've done!
We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in PNC, we shall fight on the base paths and outfield, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the bunt, we shall defend our division title, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the infield, we shall fight on the mound, we shall fight in the batter's box and in the dugout, we shall fight in the stands; we shall never surrender!
We shall defend our North Shore, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender. (Unless of course it is some rookie making his second major league start.)
