Game 95: Pirates at Reds

Burnett and Latos starting shortly. Burnett needs to step up and inspire the PBC to score a few runs for him today. The usual barking and stomping around doesn't seem to get it done anymore. He needs to up his game with something like biting the head off the rosin bag.

  1. Is it just me, or does Latos come off as a big, dumb, son-of-a-bitch?

  2. He's what NYers call a "metrosexual" full of himself, conspicuous consumption, tat "symbolism" etc...he and his wife are nauseating as reported on her official MLB blog many times. Her early entries were about how gross other fans were and how the food was bad in ANY GIVEN CITY but I think the bigwigs at MLB.com told her to chill so now it is mostly wives' charity efforts, etc....:

Strange having to use Malaysian Shadow Puppets off the ESPN Gamecast feed to follow the Bucs during the Billion Dollar Fox Blackout. Chinese opera soundtrack might help.

Latosness is going about your business in a big, dumb, Hell's Angels type of way.

It would appear Alex Presley and Zack Cozart were separated at birth.

It would also appear NoBata is returning to form also and his shining light in RF is dimming.

Why must RF be so hard to fix when Nate McLouth 2.0 toils away at Indy?

    Meltdown 2.0 by the Reds????

Good contact by Paydro, this is how you go about your business in a Professional Way in the 9th.

I predict Jordy puts the ball in play at least.

  8. Another excruciating non-entertaining loss. Iron Balls more like Tin Foil Balls now. The bench needs help - Nate 2.0, Lambo's-trained-to-kill, Sanchez, Hague, Matt Kata, Don Kelly, anybody. Lot of guys right now not really going about their business day in and day out. AJ left in too long plus inconsistent strike zone by the umps has stunk up the Beer Fort.
