I hate to write this...but in these situations, I kind of miss LaRussa. Would he have sent Lynn out there to bunt with Mouthbreather on the hill and Marte's wrists swelling in left? This could have been even more colorful. Who was warned and when? Who was tossed and when ROOT Sports doesn't know because Wehner and Co. are EMBARASSINGINGLY uniformed and not even CURIOUS about this blatant disregard by the umpiring crew.
Whipping Boy Sanchez needs to be given his waivers for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release. Even for scrimmage day, he's not going about his business day in and out.
The Firm of Sanchez & Gomez is always ready for scrimmages.
