I am in the middle of the English countryside and will be trying to follow on ESPN gamecast throughout the wee hours as it is already 19:39 over here. I was forced to go skeet shooting today and hit only 2 of 24 clays, thus embarassing my gun-toting country. 2 for 24 is Inge-like, is it not? Please don't cut me.
WOW, the third most exciting play in all of baseball, the DEFENSIVE SHIFT in all its glory. Pinch-hitting JHay for Lambo, then putting JHay's weak arm in RF could have cost them the game after Marte's unfricking believable brain freeze. Lambo rescued none of the RISP hostages, but has a chance to sneak into the tree stand or steal a sign on the bench.
I went to First Blood on a double date in high school with Denise Russell, I really wanted her to be my girlfriend but she didn't see it that way. Lambo stuff is fun but opens a painful memory. Turns out she was way better off without me. Story has a happy ending.
This loss sends me deeper into the hills. Hastily rigged beer fort is actually cider fort with wooden wheels and catapult arm. Mud shall not stop us. Seeking William Wallace to aide and abet Lambo for purposes of killing Cardinal. Communiques spotty for a few days...

ReplyDeleteI'm really glad that by playing NO DOUBLES in the infield they have given up 2 singles as a result in the 8th.
ReplyDeleteI really hope since Nate 2.0 was sent packing again that Lambo gets a chance to lambast some balls with a long series of starts.
If he goes 0 for 8 and then gets benched for Nobata, it will be very unentertaining.
