For the Oconomowoc Focus, Ryan Ratajewski sets the stage for the amazing 2005 season that will be enjoyed by the Brewers. The division will be tough, though, he writes:
Cincinnati is improving, and Pittsburgh always kills the Brew Crew. This should be the year the Brewers move out of the Central cellar, passing Pittsburgh. The Pirates traded their best player, Jason Kendall, to Oakland. It will be a battle to watch all season.Hard to believe the Rockies have better odds to win it all.The Vegas odds makers haven't given Milwaukee a break. The odds are similar to last year, 101:1 to win the National League and 201:1 to win the World Series. Only the Pittsburgh Pirates (251:1) and the Kansas City Royals (401:1) have worse odds to win the World Series.
