Blogging the Pirates and the Steelers since 1904.
As expected, the Pirates are moving through the league like a hot knife through butter.
Rodriguez and Halladay before too long now.
Marte knows how to swing and miss.
Pedro delivers.
Good job changing the signs mid-inning. That's an intangible right there--saved the Pirates a few runs.
Halladay had a Viennese Table of a strike zone from that ump. Enough of him. Bastardo is aptly named.
"Bastardo" would look good on the back of a Pirate jersey. I would order one from china.
Paydro slaps a Homer off the back foot.Very Entertaining.
The knife is being heated.
Fire up the Kingsford!Iowa Pirate
That'll teach him to square up to bunt.Grilli's good with beanball.
Entertained that Grilli has more saves than the Bucs have wins - seems impossible but I guess that's why they play the games.
Looks like HBP counts as an extra save in some situations this year, which makes perfect sense when you think about it.
